Overview

Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols, with little supervision. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Competently performs all Radiographic procedures requiring little supervision.
• Assumes responsibility for patient care safety and comfort.
• Creatively and ingeniously obtains Radiographic images, while adhering to Departmental
Standards.
• Professionally maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Standards.
• Zealously assures that patients all procedures are properly ordered, verified and acknowledged.
• Properly identifies patient before procedures.
• Gladly accepts responsibility of teaching and working with students.
• Completes annually defined position competencies.
• Willingly performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Education Required: Senior student in an accredited school of Radiation Sciences

 

License, Certification and/or Registration: BLS Certification
