The PSRC Director of Billing is responsible for overseeing the coding and prior-authorization processes within the Professional Services Revenue Cycle department. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of coding regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and compliance standards. The PSRC Director of Billing will ensure that accurate coding practices are implemented and maintained while optimizing the prior authorization process to improve efficiency and revenue cycle performance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience revenue cycle management; Direct working knowledge of professional Revenue Cycle operations and management of healthcare financial operations. (i.e. hospital based billing, insurance collections, or payer relations)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively and be open to the ideas of others. Able to present data and translate complex issues into comprehensible ideas in a concise and easily understood manner. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Demonstrated organizational skills including ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive organizational change.
