The Director of Facilities, Planning, Design and Construction will provide leadership and support for all phases of facilities planning, design and construction for HH Health capital projects. This role will direct facilities, grounds, utilities and project planning design and construction operations. Work to provide strategic direction for all major facility projects and direct day to day operations to ensure long term sustainability of HH Health facilities. This role is responsible for implementation of the policies and procedures of HH Health. This role requires experience in managing complex, large-scale healthcare projects, ensuring they are designed, budgeted, and built effectively to provide maximum value for HH Health needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate profound leadership in coordinating with multiple stakeholders including system-wide maintenance teams, city officials, internal team members, clinical team and industry partners. Education required: Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited institution in related field
Education preferred: Masters Degree
License, Certification and/or Registration: CHC, CHFM, AIA, PE or ability to obtain one of the following within 2 years of accepting the position
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in managing and executing large-scale healthcare construction projects, preferably with budgets over $100 million
Additional Skills/Abilitites: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams. Construction Estimating and Budgeting. Experience with policy development and implementation. Knowledge of FGI, IBC, NFPA and other related codes and regulations. Knowledge of eBuilder, Procore and other project management and accounting software.
