Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Information Systems, functions as the systems expert for the assigned business lines. Responsible for identifying system requirements, understanding complex business functions, and developing detailed specifications to solve business process functions and meet user requirements. Role also involves planning and designing of systems integration, managing system upgrades/enhancements, in-depth testing/debugging applications, writing application related documentation and resolving day-to-day system issues and problems. May, on occasion, assign, and/or supervise the work of others and/or provide functional guidance to one or more analytical staff members.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Demonstrates technical knowledge and abilities with: · Computer software, software design and development, hardware, equipment assembly and installation; · Installing, operating, adapting, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in application software; · Oral and written communication; · Record and interpret information accurately; · Handle multiple duties simultaneously; · Use common sense, independent learning, and technical information to solve problems. Education: Requires general knowledge acquired through a four-year college education or equivalent experience. RN license required. Experience: One to two years experience in a directly related Information System role desirable. Previous experience in assigned business lines and/or healthcare setting highly desirable.
