Job Summary: Under the direction of the Radiology Director, and a radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment. 

Responsibilities include knowledge of all Mammography / Radiology procedures. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required, or set forth.   Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible. 

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

1. Under the direction of a radiologist, produces high quality mammograms.
2. Assures Image Quality meets all departmental and Hospital standards.
3. Provides for patient and personal safety.
4. Strives to reduce patient stress about exam, educates patient concerning procedure.
5. PACS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School graduate or equivalent, some college
preferable, with satisfactory completion of a formal AMA approved Radiologic
technology program. The ARRT Registry must be passed and maintained.
Mammography certification is required. CPR Certification required.
