Overview

Troubleshoot, locate and repair faults in circuits and devices. Keep up with preventive maintenance schedule and testing of all devices. Maintain all associated paperwork. Oversee all installations of new systems and additions to existing systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

Education:
HS/GED required. Associates in Electronics Technology preferred. (Related work experience can substitute for technical degree.) NICET Level 2 certification required.

Experience:
Five years experience on fire alarm systems in a hospital environment required.

Additional Skills/Abilities:
1. Ability to interpret blueprints and wire diagrams.
2. Ability to use assorted power and hand tools.
3. Knowledge of safety codes.
4. Ability to communicate effectively.
5. Ability to perform all documentation requirements.
6. Must have valid driver's license and maintain safe driving record.
