Plans, directs and supervises all technical aspects for the department in regards to services, programs and evaluation of such programs. Develops, implements and evaluates department policy. Coordinates the activities of the department.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Education/Licensure/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have CPR certification within 6 months of hire
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
Must have knowledge of human resource management, radiation safety and scheduling methods.
Must be able to become proficient in use of hospital MIS system and department RIS computer system.
