Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Information Systems, performs complex computer systems and computer network analysis work. Work involves activities associated with a local or wide area network and network servers. Work also includes monitoring; analysis of existing hardware and software. Works under limited supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. May, on occasion, assign, and/or supervise the work of others and/or provide functional guidance to one or more technical staff members.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
Demonstrates technical knowledge and abilities with: · Computer hardware and software, local and wide area networking, software design and development, equipment assembly and installation; · Installing, operating, adapting, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in computer and network equipment and software; · Oral and written communication; · Record and interpret information accurately; · Handle multiple duties simultaneously; · Use common sense, independent learning, and technical information to solve problems.
Education: Requires college training equivalent to a B.S. in Computer Science or related degree or; extensive on the job training with applicable vendor based classes and/or certifications. Experience: One to two years experience in a directly related role. Previous experience in a healthcare setting highly desirable.
