A formal education program developed by AOR N to train RNs to practice in the role of circulator. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through the surgical experience utilizing assessment skills. The RN plans and delegates care based on the identified patient needs. The RN executes therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions. The RN evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Graduate of Accredited School Of Nursing With Current Alabama Licensure.
Experience preferred, new graduate accepted.
BCLS must be maintained.
