  • Overview

    The purpose of this position is to operate a straight truck to ensure quality customer service and safe and efficient delivery of product.


    • Responsible for daily inspection of vehicles, ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times
    • On-Site liaison between Distribution Center and Materials Management when making a delivery
    • Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments not limited to deliveries but encompassing warehouse operations duties
    • Train and provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
    • Ensure returns are being picked up and coordinate returns with Customer Service department
    • Responsible for ensuring Insurance Card, Registration, any other required documentation, and Fuel Cards are available
      • Operates a straight truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 150-mile radius of the home terminal and include generally between 2 and 12 deliveries per day.
      • Prepares, receives, provides, and picks up appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service
      • Loads, secures, unloads and delivers cargo in accordance with customer needs and company policies
      • Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently
      • On-Site Customer Service liaison between HH Distribution Center and End User



    • HS Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent work experience
    • Obtain a Class B or A CDL within 90 Days of Hire



    • 2+ years of experience in related field
